Chemical Peels

An advanced skin-renewal treatment designed with combining chemical peels that incorporate exfoliating agents to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity for a smoother, more radiant complexion.

At Aesthetics Central, we use Mesoestetic’s Mesopeel® MD.

What is Mesopeel® MD?

Mesopeel® MD are medical grade, advanced chemical peels developed for the aesthetic sector and exclusive to professionals offering high-quality formulations that are safe, effective, and results-driven. It includes an innovative range of chemical peels with unique senopeptide®.

Senopeptide® is an advanced anti-ageing peptide technology developed by Mesoestetic that targets cellular senescence—a key biological process linked to skin ageing. What makes Senopeptide® distinctive is that it helps reduce the accumulation of senescent (ageing) cells, which contribute to wrinkles, loss of firmness, inflammation, and dull skin. By limiting the negative impact of these cells, senopeptide® supports healthier skin renewal and improves overall skin quality.

Mechanisms of

Action

  1. Controlled Chemical Exfoliation

Mesopeel® MD contains specific acids (such as alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids, polyhydroxy acids, and other functional acids) to break the bonds between dead skin cells in the stratum corneum. This accelerates cell turnover, smooths texture, and improves skin clarity

  2. Stimulation of Cellular Renewal

By inducing a controlled micro-injury, mesopeel® MD triggers the skin’s natural regeneration process, encouraging the production of new, healthier keratinocytes and improving overall epidermal renewal.

  3. Dermal Biostimulation

Certain mesopeel® MD penetrates to stimulate fibroblast activity, promoting increased synthesis of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans. This leads to firmer skin, improved elasticity, and reduction of fine lines.

  4. Regulation of Melanin Production

Depigmenting mesopeel® MD acts by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and accelerating the shedding of melanin-laden keratinocytes, helping to correct hyperpigmentation and promote a more even skin tone.

  5. Sebum and Pore Normalisation

In acne-focused mesopeel® MD, lipophilic acids penetrate the follicle to regulate sebum production, reduce follicular blockage, and exert antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, improving breakouts and congestion.

  6. Anti-inflammatory and Skin-Conditioning Effects

Advanced formulations help modulate inflammation and strengthen the skin barrier, reducing irritation and supporting faster recovery post-treatment.

  7. Targeted, Customisable Action

Developed by Mesoestetic, mesopeel® MD is designed to be customised by depth, combination, and protocol, enabling practitioners to precisely address ageing, acne, pigmentation, rosacea, and texture concerns.

The MD Complex

The MD Complex is distinguished by its exclusive combination of bioactive molecules selected to enhance efficacy while supporting skin regeneration and tolerance.

Arginine

An essential amino acid with regenerative and restorative properties that stimulates the synthesis of structural proteins, promoting cellular renewal and tissue repair. This action helps reinforce the skin’s architecture and accelerate recovery following aesthetic procedures.

Shikimic acid

A naturally derived compound with regenerating and sebum-regulating activity. Through advanced epigenetic mechanisms, shikimic acid helps inhibit cellular senescence while restoring balance to sebaceous secretion, making it particularly valuable in treatments addressing both aging and oil dysregulation.

Caffeic acid

A potent antioxidant known for its strong anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects. By protecting the skin against oxidative stress and supporting the repair process, caffeic acid helps maintain skin integrity and improves overall treatment outcomes.
